Jeffreys appointment yesterday was really good. All his labs came back perfect! First time since…well ever!!!????????

He is struggling with sleeping though, and he keeps dropping weight. This is a concern, as most transplant patients tend to put on quite a bit of weight the first year because they feel so good, and finally have an appetite. They don’t know if its all the infections he’s had or if something else is going on? Just going to watch him close for now.

We all feel that this upcoming surgery is going to do wonders for him and finally get him on the track to feeling amazing! We will discuss more in future appointments, but we all feel its best to wait until November. He has his Make a Wish trip coming up, and everyone wants him to be feeling great for that, and not trying to recover from a surgery. Hoping and praying like crazy he is well enough to go.
