Jeffrey has been home recovering from surgery for the last 2 1/2 weeks.
This one has been a little rougher one. The stent was scheduled to come out on the 2nd of Dec. This last week he spiked a fever, and after some tests we found out he has a major infection and the stent needs to come out.
He had to be on antibiotics for 48 hrs before they can do this. He is doing better, and the hospital was able to fit him in to the OR tomorrow afternoon. We are hoping and praying that the stent has been in long enough to let everything heal, and we will know then if this surgery was successful. If not they will have to put in a new one and his recovery will start over.
