2 years ago today, Wesley had his liver transplant. I don’t know what we would have done without it. The journey has been long and difficult, but it’s far easier than the alternative. I want to thank the family of the young man who made the decision to donate his liver to help others. I also want to thank Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and all the nurses and doctors and care technicians who have been a second family for us. I want to thank my parents for always lending a helping hand and for supporting both Wesley and me throughout this process. I don’t know what I’d do without them.
