Happy Valentine’s Day. Also Happy National Donors Day too!!! We celebrate those who have given other’s a second chance at life. Noah will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Because of him and his family’s selfless act Annika is growing, thriving, and LIVING!

Speaking of growing I forgot to add yesterday that Annika is now 42.5 pounds and 43 inches tall. For the first time in years she is actually on the growth chart for her weight! 

Today was Annika’s bronchoscopy. She did very well and was discharged back to the Ronald McDonald House. The doctor was happy with how the lungs appeared and the large amount of mucous that was present last month was gone. The actual biopsy results will be the ultimate determinate of if there is any rejection still going on. 

After her procedure Annika “took it easy” by playing in the park for 2 hours. We also walked around and looked for signs of spring- robins, flowers popping through the soil. We will be in Columbus for appointments still tomorrow and also until the biopsy results come back.
