I am so horrible about updates these days but honestly it is because we are so busy and living such a “normal” life. Annika is again playing softball this season. What a difference a year has made in her abilities. The girl who could barely hold a bat last year can now really hit the ball with force. She can throw and catch and run bases too! In June she will start gymnastics lessons which was another huge bucket list item for her. This year she recompleted kindergarten and finished 1st grade. Another area of huge growth. We will start with second grade in the fall but I am certain she will move through it with flying colors. This past week she gained another “transplant sister.” It is crazy that Nationwide has now done 5 pediatric double lung transplants since Annika got hers.
