As of January 26th, 2021, Ellie is officially active on the waiting list for a kidney! When mom told Ellie that she is on the waiting list, Ellie said “YES!! I KNEW they would put me on because I take my medicines so well!” She is actually very excited about getting a new kidney. To her, that basically means getting to eat her favorite foods again, no more dialysis and no more PD catheter. We hope and pray her energy and enthusiasm help carry her through the recovery process. We are all packed and ready to rush to Fort Worth when they call us for a kidney. And of course we are leaning on so many of you that have supported us in so many different ways! We couldn’t tread this journey without you.
