No real updates on our end. We’re just trying to fill our days with as much entertainment, laughter, and normalcy that we can.
We’ve been leaning a lot more on our Child Life Specialists, and they have been absolutely incredible. They constantly come up with creative activities to keep Evelyn engaged, learning, smiling, and distracted from the reality of living in a hospital. We are so grateful for everything they do.
Some days are just plain exhausting. Balancing work, home life and then coming straight to the hospital to be fully present for Evelyn isn’t always easy, but its worth every bit of it, seeing that beautiful smile. We keep showing up, one day at a time, making the best memories we can.
