Superman has left the building! After 9 days in the hospital and one shiny, new kidney later, we have been discharged!! All of the doctors, nurses and staff lined the halls, wore silly hats, glasses, had clappers and sang the best song about his new kidney as we walked and I apparently didn’t hit record. Pretty upset about that, but. We are so thankful to be at our home away from home with our family and recovering!

We have our first transplant labs and clinic in the morning back at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
