After 310 days being on the list, and just 2 weeks away from his first birthday, our prayers have been answered. I am so overwhelmed with emotions.

The transplant team came in just before noon and told me they accepted a heart it is (on paper) perfect. They still have to run tests and examine it, but as of right now, Josiah will be transplanted tomorrow!

Please, please, please pray. For everything. That the heart will remain healthy through the evaluation process. For the surgeries on both the retrieving and the receiving ends. Prayers that all will go well or gets resolved tomorrow. Prayers for Dillon as he tries to finish this shift before racing to Denver. Prayers for our family. Prayers for Josiah, that he makes it through this and recovers quickly.

But please especially pray for the donor family. I am so incomprehensibly thankful that they chose to give my son the gift of life in their darkest moments. My heart breaks for them.
