We received a call on Sunday, December 9th that there was an offer for lungs for Keagan. We were toks tonarrive at Texas Childrens Hospital at 7am to checkninto a room to get things going so testing could be completed on Keagan, labs drawn, more labs, chest xray… Keagan went back to the OR at around 10:15pm on 12/10/2018. we received a call at 10:55 that the donor lungs looked good and it was a go for tonight for Keagan’s double lung transplant. he has been 

Keagan has continued to do great throughout the night. I did just receive a call around 3:47am today 12/11/18  that the donor lungs have arrived and they are now placing them in Keagan! Continued prayers for Keagan and the donor family who have blessed Keagan with the ultimate gift of life while at their saddest and most trying time! We will be forever grateful for them and their Angel! And have not stopped thinking about them and praying for them since we received the call! I hope someday they know how grateful we are and what these lungs mean for Keagan and our family and that we will take care of their precious child’s lungs as though they were our own child’s.  We are so incredibly grateful for Keagan getting a second chance at life and cant wait tonwatch God’s plan for him unfold!  okease continue to keep him in your praye as he embarks on thisnmext journey of life!!
