We are going home!!

We are on our way HOME after living in Texas for the past 14 months! We can’t wait to see everyone. I know there are so many that can’t wait to see Keagan too. Please remember if you or your kids have been sick or just getting over anything we would appreciate it if you would give it at least another week or two so we can protect Keagan as he has a weakened immune system and will for the rest of his life. He is on immunosuppressants to keep his body from attacking his new lungs!! A simple cold for us could be life threatening and throw Keagan right back into the hospital! Also, if you or your children have had any live vaccines (ie: MMR, Varicella, shingles, flu mist) please also hold off on seeing Keagan for two weeks per transplant orders. We want to keep these amazing new lungs as healthy as possible for as long as possible and watch him thrive!! Thank you all so much for all of your thoughts, prayers, and support over the past 7 1/2 years. We appreciate everything everyone hasr done for us and all of the help with McKenna!!
We were sad to say goodbye to our new Texas family and will miss them all! We are also thankful to have been able to stay at Project Joy and Hope and meet the wonderful people Jan, Shelley, Chris, and Bill that that have made it the amazing place it is and have given us the stability to live in a beautiful home for the past 14 months and lifetime friendships! Thanks to our moving crew Matt Whitten, Brandon Megan Whitten Schaaf, Blake, Bob Sullivan and McKenna!! They pulled in yesterday morning around 7:40 am and Matt, Brandon, and Blake headed back out to leave around 2 pm to go back!
