Fun times! Living life with my new lungs!!

We were sad to say see you later to Grandma but hopefully that was the last time!!  We had a busy week of appointments and hanging out with Grandma Jodi Whitten. We got to go out, I got to get my nails and toes done, we played at the park, and Grandma got to see a whole new Iife with Keagan!! Keagan is up to 39lbs and is up to 3 foot 3 inches tall!!  He did awesome at his appointments and hanging out!! He loves walking from room to room and playing hide-and-seek!! And of course balloons!! He walked in the treadmill at therapy, did some therapy at home with his stepping stones, rode the escalator multiple times, and went for walks with Grandma!! Today, he got to swing and go down the slide for the first time by himself without any equipment!! It is amazing how much easier everything is now!! We will always have to be cautious and avoid anyone who is sick or has been sick so that will be the biggest challenge! To keep him healthy is our goal!! Tomorrow, he goes in for his 6 week bronchoscopy to check his lungs and is also getting a PH Probe that he will have placed in his nose to make sure he is not aspirating and hurting his new lungs!! He is suppose to keep it in for 24 hours ????????????????( if anyone knows Keagan you know he does not like anything on his face) I asked what the minimum amount of time it has to stay in to get results so we shall see how this goes!

Again, thanks for all of the thoughts, prayers, and support!! Thanks for supporting COTA!

Thanks for supporting Haley Petracek with her Gel Moment fundraiser this week!!

Also, thanks again so much for all of your support in ordering T-shirt’s with Third Haven Boutique for Keagan to receive the adaptive tricycle!!  Please continue to pray for Keagan’s donor and their family!!
