I know its been a long time since we posted on here. Im sorry we have been busy enjoying life, appointments, and working/learning how to run The UPS Store that Tony and I purchased in Nov 2022. Tony has finally went back to his job working in the Union this April! He had been off because of buying the store and then everything with Mia happened. We are trying to get back to a new normal. I’m now running the store which gives me ability to take Mia to her appointments. I do still fill in at the hospital as much as I can.

This summer Mia has been enjoying swimming in the pool! She took summer school this summer for drivers ed. This was a way to get Mia back in the school and to learn the school since she is in high school! She passed her drivers ed and now has her permit! She’s still is a little nervous with driving but we will get there. We are in know big hurry. We also got to meet the donor family which we are so grateful for! It was very nice! We went to there house in Iowa. We chatted and enjoyed a great dinner. The next day we went to church with them. It was very nice to meet them and spend time with them. We plan on staying in touch and hoping to develop a good relationship with them.

We are now this week at the one year mark this Saturday the 17th. We will for ever be grateful but please keep the donor family in your thoughts as today they lost there child a year ago. Today we had her ONE Year Cath today. WOW can’t believe it! The cath went great all good news! We will find out the biopsy results tomorrow. She enjoying life and feels great! Looks so healthy too. She officially starts high school on Thursday for her sophomore year! How crazy is that. Please pray for positive vibes for biopsy results and the start of school.
