Summer update

I haven’t posted about Weston in a while. Thank God, Westons labs have been stable recently. He is battling itching though, which is common with liver disease. Poor little guy just scratches all the time. He was already on a medication as needed for itching that we were having to give on a regular basis. Monday we started another scheduled medication for his itching! I pray it helps.

Weston really had a good June! No appointments and the only lab/testing he had to have was Monday the 29th they did a Covid test before a scheduled procedure tomorrow, July 2nd. It was negative. Tomorrow we are scheduled to arrive at Cardinal Glennon at 730 for lab work and an upper GI scope to evaluate his varices. The plan is to be admitted overnight and get some other testing, an echo, EKG, and probably an abdominal ultrasound while we are there.

Weston loves to be outside and is very adventurous. He still really only speaks barn animal and not much English yet! ???? I’m sure it is coming and then we won’t be able to keep him quiet!

Thanks again for all the continued support and love! We appreciate our army and couldn’t do it without you all.
