Talked to Ava Jaymes doctor from the sleep clinic this morning. They wanted to reach out to us sooner then later about Ava’s breathing issues, she is having while sleeping. I guess it’s more problems then what they originally thought. As we knew the oxygen supply from her left lung is being pinched off by her heart, that unexpectedly enlarged after transplant. But the oxygen assistance is more then what they thought while she is sleeping, and she isn’t releasing all her carbon dioxide. So we are scheduling a new sleep study while she gets her next heart biopsy and g/j tube in the next couple of weeks.
