Ava’s doctors got her in early to have her gastrostomy tube (G-tube) placed.   She will be admitted today at around 1pm and surgery at 3pm.  If everything goes well, then they will be finishing her feeding tube (GJ-tube) tomorrow.  She will be going under anesthesia today and a few times in the next week or two for a few different procedures.  They do not plan to have us admitted for more than a day or two at a time, we will see how Ava behaves.
