Hi everyone! Thank you for joining this page as we cheer on Emmy and her family! My name is Emily- I’m Katie’s college room mate and going to be helping with some of the administrative upkeep of this page. Additionally, I’m helping to organize ways we can love on Emmy and the Winkelmans. Here’s what Katie and Jarret have thought of so far:
Ways to Help:
>Make a donation to COTA for Emmy at www.cota.org/cotaforemmy Emmy will face life long medical costs including follow-up procedures, medication, and equipment expenses. Our hope is that all donations made to COTA for Emmy will help with a lifetime of transplant-related expenses. You can donate through this link: cota.org/cotaforemmy. >Purchase “Emmy’s Hype Squad” apparel through the COTA for Emmy Fundraiser we are setting up. (the t-shirt launch is live! https://www.bonfire.com/cota-for-emmy-1/)
Host a Facebook Fundraiser for COTA for Emmy.
- Go to COTA’s Facebook page (@COTAFans) and click on the “Fundraisers” button at the top of COTA’s timeline.
- Click “Raise Money” on the right-hand side above the list of current Facebook Fundraisers for COTA.
- Title your Fundraiser as: [Your Name]’s fundraiser for COTA for Emmy (Ex. Emily’s fundraiser for COTA for Emmy)
>DoorDash gift cards for the Winkelman’s to order meals while in Cincinnati (please have them emailed to mebekt@gmail.com)
>Donate AirMiles They will use Southwest and United to travel to and from Cincinnati. Message me for more details if you are interested in helping cover their flights or contributing.
