$100,000 Goal Reached This Week Thanks to You All!!! – Mar 7, 2021

This week we reached our $100,000 fundraising goal supporting the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) in honor of kids like John. This is a huge milestone that we didn’t imagine reaching when we first began this journey and we are blown away.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Thanks to COTA we can breathe so much easier. Running our business and planning for two surgeries (Patty’s kidney donation and John’s kidney transplant) has been very intense–especially with a hopefully once-in-a-lifetime ice storm just weeks before that caused the farm to lose power for 5 days! We can’t thank you enough!! Additional donations will continue to support COTA in honor of kids like John to support a lifetime of care. John will likely need at least one more transplant in his lifetime, and these funds will follow him throughout his life. We are so blessed to be connected to COTA and to have your support.

COTA is able to support families like ours with reimbursements for travel, lodging, food, and even loss of income. This is truly peace of mind. Especially for a family-run business and also with Patty and John having surgeries during pandemic, which means a longer stay in California. We are feeling incredibly humbled and so grateful to our community.

We are also so grateful to KOIN 6 News and the Woodburn Independent for sharing updates marking this milestone. Robby and Justin–thank you for your kindness and care with John’s story!

A big shout out to our COTA volunteer team—Stephanie, Julia, Dee Dee and Evelyn. And to all of our friends who have helped them and us out!

Thank you, all!
