Lots of plans today.
They’re really working on relieving Alex’s ileus. He got an enema last night in addition to 2x a day suppositories. They also started a med to counteract the constipating effects of narcotics and changed up his sedation/pain management plan. They also increased his activity that he can sit up with therapy.
His liver labs are continuing to downtrend. He has a small fever this morning that they’re going to watch for now.
Depending on how his bowels respond he could either go to the OR to close tomorrow or Thursday.

Please pray his bowel wake up, they can close ASAP and get him off the vent, his labs improve and the rejection is successfully treated, and that he remains comfortable.

Also, please pray for Shelby, she got a fever last night and they’re keeping her inpatient to workup for infection.
